Since becoming the first in the world to successfully create a resin bearing for steel rolling mills in 1941, we have contributed to the development of diverse industries, including major industries such as steel, paper, and shipbuilding.
At present, we are advancing a range of product businesses, including phenolic products known under names such as Selb®, Hitem®, and Mostar®, and brake-lining business that was the first in the world to develop asbestos-free products. In addition, our ALP® products are made from fluorocarbon resins which is one of the superior tribological materials and feature improved anti-abrasion and dimensional stability achieved by using our unique mixing technology. With the keywords of "lubricate," "transmit," and "stop," we are advancing research on material development and evaluation techniques grounded in tribological technologies.
